Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution; Shepherd <br />Seconded: Doherty <br />Ayes: Doherty, Jamieson, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Shepherd, Wood, Chairman Butler <br />UP-77-16 and UP-77-20, LAVWMA - application for conditional use permits to <br />allow the construction and operation of an export pump station and regulating <br />reservoirs on a 15-acre site located south of the Commerce Circle industrial <br />development and approximately 700 ft. east of Johnson Industrial Drive, a <br />junction structure just north of the future Stoneridge Drive approximately <br />750 ft. east of the Alamo Canal and a pumping facility on the site if the <br />VCSD Sewage Treatment Plant. Zoning for the properties is A (Agricultural) <br />and P (Public and Institutional) Districts. <br />The staff report was described. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Harding expressed concerns regarding the following: <br />Condition 5 - design specifications for the access road - this would be on <br />property owned by Clorox Company, who has plans to enlarge their facilities. <br />This requirement would cause discrepancy with the existing parking lot, <br />drainage and street slope. Mr. Sooby indicated he would be happy to review <br />this situation again. Mr. Don Middlestaedt of Clorox Company reiterated <br />this position. Condition 7 - payment of all fees - he wished to verify <br />that under a cooperative effort, all fees would be waived. Mr. Levine <br />indicated that the waiver of fees should be decided by the City Council <br />but that condition could be deleted to avoid confusion. <br />The Public Hearing was closed. <br />Resolution No. 1580 was entered and adopted approving UP-77-16 and UP-77-20 <br />subject to the conditions in the staff report, with modification to <br />Condition #5 pertaining to percentage slope of the access road; deletion of <br />Condition #7, addition of Condition #13, pertaining to odor control and <br />adoption of findings. proposed by staff. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Doherty <br />Seconded: Jamieson <br />Ayes: Doherty, Jamieson, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Shepherd, Wood, Chairman Butler <br />Review to find conformit with the General Plan for acquisition of <br />certain properties as a part of the LAVWMA project. <br />Secretary Harris asked that in conjunction with the approvals given, that <br />the Commission find conformity with the General Plan for proposed acquisi- <br />tion of certain properties which will be a part of the LAVWMA project. <br />These acquisitions would be the export pump station and regulating <br />-4- <br />
