At 8:00 P.M., Gina Molinaro, Mr. Molinaro and their attorney, Bill Hirst,
arrived.
The Commissioners explained to them what had transpired and the concerns
expressed by those present.
Mr. Hirst indicated that the number of parking spaces provided is well in
excess, and should not be a problem. He agreed that the sheds should be
torn down. The turn-around on the lot is sufficient for the cars to turn
around on when dropping off and picking up the children.
Resolution No. 1627 was then entered and adopted approving the conditional
use permit subject to the conditions in the staff report and making the
required findings. Modifications would be for Condition #l, requiring the
applicant to remove the sheds in the rear of the property and fence the
area. Conditions 22 and 23 would be added to limit the number of children
to 25 and to maintain the property in a weed-free manner.
Mrs. Silva stated that it is a bad situation that no fire access would be
provided for the three lots Mr. Molinaro owns there. Secretary Harris
stated that he is certain Mr. Molinaro would be willing to place a gate
in the play yard fence at the rear of the property.
Roll Call Vote
Resolution: Jamieson
Seconded: Shepherd
Ayes: Jamieson, Shepherd, Butler
Noes: None
Absent: Doherty
Abstain: None
UP-78-7, Ivan and Janet Loebs - Application for a conditional use permit to
allow the operation of a wholesale import company in a portion of one build-
ing located at 3657 Santa Rita Road. He had not received the report in the mail and he
took a few minutes at the hearing to review the report. The Commissioners
went on to review the next case.
Following completion of that case, Mr. Loebs came forward to speak for his
application. He asked for clarification of Condition #2, calling for final
clearance of the building before occupancy.
