Recommendation is for approval
subject to the conditions and findings in the staff report. In commenting
on the negative declaration report, Secretary Harris indicated that a Mrs.
Silva, resident on Stanley Boulevard, felt that this use would generate a
lot of dust.
Commissioner Jamieson expressed some concerns regarding fencing on the site,
and location of parking spaces 5, 6 and 7. He preferred to see parking in
the proximity of Spaces 1, 2, 3 and 4. He also felt that the sheds were
something of a nuisance and hazard and wanted to see them removed.
Secretary Harris indicated that placing the parking spaces elsewhere would
require a greater turning radius and extensive paving would need to be
provided.
Considerable discussion ensued regarding these considerations.
The Public Hearing was opened. The applicant was not present.
Lisa Silva, 4171 Stanley Boulevard, spoke. She asked if
parking in the back of the lot. The reply was yes.
