PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES JULY 26, 1979 (continued) <br />north of Mohr Avenue from the P (Public and Institutional) District to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development-Commercial and Offices) District and to designate 3.6 <br />acres be zoned C-C and 4.5 acres be zoned 0 and that the 1 acre parcel belonging <br />to Schlies be rezoned 0 (Office) District but not be part of the PUD be adopted. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Geppert, Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and Chairman <br />Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />PUD-79-6, Henry Cupples <br />Application to rezone the 6.1 acre site located on the east side of Hopyard Road <br />immediately north of the proposed Burger King restaurant from C-F (Commercial Freeway) <br />District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development-Commercial) District. A negative <br />declaration of environmental impacts will also be considered. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report dated July 26, 1979. <br />Chairman Doherty declared the public hearing open. <br />Mr. Jack Bras, AIA, representing Henry Cupples commented on this list of uses <br />submitted for the property. <br />No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br />There being no further testimony, the public hearing was closed. <br />It was moved by Commissioner Geppert and seconded by Commissioner Wilson that <br />Resolution No. 1772 approving the negative declaration be adopted. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Geppert, Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and <br />Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />It was moved by Commissioner Wilson and seconded by Commissioner Geppert that <br />Resolution No. 1773 recommending approval of PUD-79-6, application of Henry Cupples <br />to rezone the 6.1 acre site located on the east side of Hopyard Road immediately <br />north of the proposed Burger King restaurant from C-F (Commercial Freeway) <br />District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development-Commercial) District subject to <br />staff recommendations be adopted. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />Commissioners Geppert, Jamieson, Wilson and Chairman Doherty <br />Commissioner Getty <br />None <br />GP-79-12, Flying "J", Inc. <br />Application for an amendment to the land use element of the General Plan to change <br />the land use designation of a 60 acre site located immediately south of Johnson <br />Drive about 700 feet west of Hopyard Road from "General and Limited Industrial" to <br />a combined "Industrial/Commercial and Offices" designation.
