Mr. Harris stated the City will write a letter and ask that the <br />City be notified of these types of uses on the property. <br />Commissioner Getty stated that Flair Market on Pico is now open and that <br />they have one driveway onto Pico and it is very close to Concord-Palomino <br />and that you must slow down to a complete stop when coming out of the <br />driveway. She stated if the surrounding area were developed into multiples <br />this could be a serious problem. <br />Mr. Schaumburg stated they are widening this area now. <br />Commissioner Leppert asked if there were any City funds available for the <br />Commissioners to attend the League of California Cities seminar in <br />Southern California. Mr. Harris stated this would be addressed at the end <br />of the meeting. <br />Commissioner Jamieson inquired about the nursery on Sunol storing coal and <br />firewood in the parking lot. Mr. Harris stated that the staff has talked <br />to the nursery people and they are to rectify the situation within a couple <br />of weeks. Mr. Harris stated they are doing something to the rear of the <br />property and with the rain have been unable to complete it. Mr. Harris <br />stated they are also going to take the fence down. <br />Commissioner Jamieson then stated Albers Feed needs a general cleanup. <br />He stated there are pallets stacked which are both a fire hazard and an <br />eyesore, especially with the school across the street from it. Mr. Harris <br />stated the City Attorney would be sending a letter out on this matter. <br />Chairperson Doherty stated he had occasion to meet Earl Adams, owner of <br />3687 Old Santa Rita Road C-S property and asked him about signing for his <br />complex. He stated Mr. Adams has asked his tenants to form a committee <br />for signing and to come up with a signing proposal. <br />RZ-79-23, Planning Commission <br />Application of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton to rezone <br />an approximately 3.2 acre site located on the north side of Black Avenue <br />between Harvest Road and Crestline Road from the RM-2500 (Multiple- <br />Residential - 17 units per acre) District to the RM-4000 (Multiple- <br />Residential - 11 units per acre) District. A negative declaration of <br />environmental impacts was also considered. <br />Mr. Harris reviewed the staff report and recommendation citing the letter <br />received from Mr. Morrison, the property owner, stating he had no objection <br />to the rezoning. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />As no one spoke either for or against this project, the public hearing <br />was closed. <br />-2- <br />
