A negative
impacts was also considered.
Mr. Harris explained the staff report.
As there were no questions of staff, the public hearing was opened.
Bill Hirst, one of the principles in the development spoke. He stated
they agree with most of the conditions of the staff report but do have
some concerns with some conditions, namely;
1. Agrees with the wing wall comment of staff and that it should
be eliminated.
2. Does not want this condition as he wants it to be used as a
walkway even though it is more expensive to do so.
3. Mr. Hirst says he feels strongly that the shopping center
does not need a loading berth and asked that parking spaces
41 and 42 remain as parking spaces and not a loading berth. He
stated this proposal is unlike a Lucky or Safeway shopping
center in that they will not be receiving deliveries by large
trucks.
-3-
