Chairperson Doherty addressed the intersection at Mohr Avenue and <br />Santa Rita Road and stated while the red paint has helped some, it <br />should be extended further in a northerly and southerly direction as <br />there is still a visibility problem when turning in either direction <br />onto Santa Rita Road from Mohr Avenue. <br />Chairperson Doherty polled the Commissioners and asked if anyone would <br />be abstaining from any of the cases to be heard at the meeting because <br />of a conflict of interest. Commissioner DeWitt Wilson stated he would <br />abstain and remove himself from the Commission on three items; Tract <br />4373, item 9b, because he has financial interest, Tract 4263, item 9c, <br />because he has a financial interest and item 9f, Tract 4326, because he <br />had previously made an offer on the property. <br />OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />PUD-79-14, Amador Valley Investors <br />Application of Amador Valley Investors to rezone from the R-1-6500 <br />(Single-Family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />District and development plan approval for a 41-lot, single-family resi- <br />dential subdivision proposed to be built on a 9 acre parcel located <br />on the south side of Fairlands Drive opposite its intersection with <br />Brockton Drive. A negative declaration of environmental impacts was <br />also to have been considered. <br />This matter was continued to April 9, 1980 at the request of the appli- <br />cant. <br />RZ-80-3, Planning Commission <br />Application of the Planning Commission to rezone those sites located on <br />the north side of Vineyard Avenue which are fully developed as apartment <br />projects from the RM-4000 (Multiple Residential, 11 units per acre) <br />District to those zoning districts under which the sites were developed, <br />including the following locations: 3767 Vineyard Avenue, Wisteria Lane <br />Apts. - RM-4000 to RM-2500; 3819 Vineyard Avenue, Pleasanton Greens Apts. - <br />RM-4000 to RM-2500; 3955 Vineyard Avenue, Del Arroyo Apts. - RM-4000 to <br />PUD High Density Residential (23 to 25 units per acre); 4095 Vineyard <br />Avenue, Vintage Townhouse - RM-4000 to RM-1500; 3969 Vineyard Avenue, <br />Del Arroyo Apts., - RM-4000 to RM-2500. A negative declaration of environ- <br />mental impacts was also considered. <br />As there were no questions of staff, the Chairperson declared the <br />public hearing opened. <br />Frank Auf der Maur, 594 Pico Avenue, Pleasanton, addressed the Commission <br />urging approval of this zoning change. He stated that the projects <br />were rezoned after they were constructed and if they were to be 50$ <br />destroyed, they would be unable to build the same amount of units as <br />currently exist under the current zoning. <br />As no one else addressed the Commission, Chairperson Doherty declared <br />the public hearing closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wilson that case RZ-80-3 as proposed would not have any adverse <br />-2- <br />
