Bob Miller, Morrison Homes, addressed the trailer situation. He stated
the site will be cleaned up within two weeks. Commissioner Jamieson
asked if we could count on two weeks and Mr. Miller said yes.
Concerning conditions #2 and #3 of the staff report he asked for clari-
fication. Mr. Harris stated these two conditions will neither detract
from any rights of the property owner nor add to them.
Commissioner Jamieson asked for clarification of air-space condominiums,
and Mr. Miller explained.
A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner
Jamieson that Tract 4549 for Morrison Homes be approved subject to the
conditions of the staff report.
ROLL CALL VOTE
Ayes: Commissioners Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and Chairperson Doherty
Noes: None
Absent: Commissioner Leppert
Abstain: None
Resolution No. 1864 was then entered and adopted approving the tentative
map for Tract 4549.
RZ-80-4, Planning Commission
Application of the Planning Commission to amend Section 2-5.35 of Arti-
cle 3, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton
to allow commercial and industrial subdivision without regard to the
minimum site requirements after a project has been built and/or approved
for the building. Minor changes to other sections would be made to con-
form to the purposes and intent of this revision.
Mr. Harris explained the staff report and purpose of this proposed
ordinance code change. He stated this request comes about because of
the Hopyard Center on Hopyard and Valley (across from Alpha Beta).
Mr. Harris stated that this would not change any plans in anyway. A
motion was then made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner
Jamieson that case RZ-80-4 be recommended for approval.
ROLL CALL VOTE
Ayes: Commissioners Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and Chairperson Doherty
Noes: None
Absent: Commissioners Geppert
Abstain: None
Resolution No. 1865 was then entered and adopted recommending approval
of case RZ-80-4.
Commissioner Jamieson addressed the deterioration of fencing along
Valley Avenue. Commissioner Wilson stated that when you use fencing
backing onto a street it generally looks bad. Commissioner Jamieson
stated that over a period of time some people repair fences in an orderly
manner and others let it go.
-16-
