Mr. Schaumburg discussed weathering steel corrugated materials. <br />Mr. Harris stated that the City Standards have neen changed since the <br />building of the fence on Valley Avenue. He said the new fencing in <br />Northway Downs and Heritage Valley is much better than those on Valley <br />Avenue. <br />Mr. Schaumburg described the composition of the fencing structures. <br />In response to a comment made by Commissioner Wilson concerning mainte- <br />nance, Mr. Harris stated that the City could adopt a maintenance <br />ordinance but really doesn't want to get into something like that as <br />there is insufficient staff for enforcement. <br />Commissioner Getty stated there is a huge solar panel on Adams Way <br />and asked staff to take a look at that. <br />Mr. Harris stated that at the next Planning Commission meeting it would <br />be necessary to consider changing of Chairperson and Vice Chairperson <br />and the Design Review and Board of Adjustment. Mr. Harris asked <br />Mr. Jamieson if he would like to continue as Commission as his term <br />does expire 5/5/80. Mr. Jamieson stated he would. Mr. Harris stated <br />he would so inform the City Manager and let him know when his inter- <br />view would be. <br />Commissioner Getty stated that the Chairperson(s), Board of Adjustment <br />and Design Review Board should be determined after they find out who <br />the fifth person on the Planning Commission would be. The Commissioners <br />concurred with this. <br />Chairperson Doherty asked about Commissioner Getty's trip to San Diego <br />to attend the League of California Cities Planning Seminar.
