Chairperson Doherty stated it might be in everyone's best interest to <br />approach those people in Little League concerning the relationship of <br />the development with the two fields regarding the cost burden. Mr. <br />Kameny stated his company intends to approach the Little League and assist <br />them either through construction or some monetary means. Commissioner <br />Wilson then asked Mr. Kameny if he understood the conditions and change <br />in conditions as suggested, particularly condition #12. Mr. Kameny <br />stated he understands and concurs with them as he spent some time with <br />staff on March 11, 1980 and they are in accord. <br />Lars Jotten, 1265 Kolln Street, spoke being concerned with the National <br />Little League aspect of the development asked when all of this will <br />take place. Chairperson Doherty responded they plan to have final <br />engineering plans in September and that the developer will proceed shortly <br />thereafter and this should be after one Little League season and prior <br />to the other. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Jamieson, that Tract 4551 be approved subject to the conditions of the <br />planning and engineering staff reports of March 12 subject to the <br />aforementioned changes in conditions #l, #12, deleting #13, and changing <br />#16 as earlier described. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and Chairperson Doherty <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Leppert <br />Abstain: None <br />Resolution No. 1862 was then entered and adopted approving the tentative <br />map for Tract 4551. <br />Commissioner Wilson stated he would not participate on the following <br />hearing because he feels there is a conflict of interest. <br />Tract 4326, John and Joan Caroline <br />Application of John and Joan Caroline for tentative map approval for <br />a 49-lot industrial subdivision of the 69 acre site located south of <br />Valley Avenue and immediately easterly of the residences along Kolln <br />Street. The property is zoned PUD-Industrial (Planned Unit Development- <br />Industrial) District. <br />Mr. Harris explained the staff report and that Tract 4326 is in con- <br />formance with the PUD already approved. <br />As there were no questions of staff, the public hearing was opened. <br />-14- <br />
