Discussion then ensued regarding six of the units, number of baths and <br />bedrooms and the extension of Pico. <br />Chairperson Wilson then stated there is no guarantee that Mr. Madden <br />will not sell the property. Mr. DZadden stated he has no intention of <br />selling the property and that he lives on it. Chairperson Wilson stated <br />selling of property happens every day, i.e. Caroline's property is for <br />sale. <br />Commissioner Getty stated that since City Council is going to have the <br />final say so on this matter, perhaps they should set the percentage. <br />Commissioner Jamieson stated they toured the property and feel emergency <br />vehicular access should be provided on Vine Street. <br />PZr. Jacobson spoke stating that the exterior building materials to be <br />used would be durable. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner Jamieson <br />that the negative declaration prepared for case PUD-80-5 be recommended <br />for approval. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, <br />Chairperson N7iison <br />Noes: None <br />Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and_ <br />Resolution No. 1884 was then entered and adopted approving tYie negative <br />declaration prepared for case PUD-80-5. <br />A motion was then made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Jamieson that case PUD-80-5 be recommended for approval subject to the <br />conditions of the staff report of 6/11/80 changing condition #4 to read <br />"That within one year, the applicant shall enter into an agreement with <br />the City to make a minimum of 25$ of the units available to those of <br />lower or moderate income. The income limits and percentage of lower and <br />moderate income units shall be established as part of the agreement. <br />Case PUD-80-5 shall not become; effective until this agreement has been <br />execute y tle City Counci with a prior recommendation by the Planning <br />Commission, and eliminates condition #26 replacing it with "That an <br />emergency vehicle access be added at Vine Street and the eastern boundary <br />of the property" that condition #39 be eliminated. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />Noes: None <br />Resolution No. 1885 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of case PUD-80-5 as described above. <br />-10- <br /> <br />
