Mr. Oakes stated that the neighbors asked whether or not they would <br />maintain the strip. Mr. Oakes stated it would be part of the restric- <br />tions imposed on the homeowners and that it would be maintained by them. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Chairperson Wilson spoke to condition #36 regarding the east/west pathway <br />a small portion running through the south concerning the path. <br />Commissioner Getty made a recommendation, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey <br />that approval of this project would not cause any significant adverse <br />environmental effects and recommended approval of the negative declara- <br />tion prepared for case PUD-80-7. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Resolution No. 1897 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the negative declaration for case PUD-80-7. <br />A motion was then made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey that the project filed under case PUD-80-7 be recommended for <br />approval subject to the staff report modifying condition 1(a) that <br />"the access way to the park shall be a minimum of 28 ft. in width," <br />and add an additional condition that the pathway be 8 ft. wide. <br />Resolution No. 1898 was entered and adopted recommending the approval <br />of case PUD-80-7, the application of Dennan Construction Company. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Mr. Oakes stated that although Eucalyptus trees previously planted are -~ <br />sometimes a nuisance he would be glad to plant something like pine ~-- <br />trees if requested. <br />PUD-80-8, James Price Development <br />Application of James Price Development Company to rezone from RM-4000 <br />(Multiple-Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />District a 3.2 acre site located on the north side of Black Avenue between <br />Harvest Road and Crestline Road. This application also included a <br />request for development plan approval for a 34-unit condominium complex <br />proposed to be built at this location. A negative declaration of <br />environmental impacts was also considered. <br />-10- <br />
