ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />Noes: None <br />Resolution No. 1918 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the negative declaration for GP-80-9. <br />A motion was then made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Jamieson that GP-80-9 be recommended for approval. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Jamieson, Lindsey and Chairperson Wilson <br />Noes: Commissioners Doherty and Getty <br />Resolution No. 1919 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of case GP-80-9. <br />RZ-80-11, City Council <br />Application of the City Council to amend Section 2-9.40 of Article 18, <br />Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton <br />which would regulate political and other temporary signs. <br />Mr. Harris explained the staff report and proposed ordinance. <br />Commissioner Jamieson addressed page 5 of the proposed ordinance <br />relating to a $5.00 fee for sign removal. <br />Chairperson Wilson inquired about a deposit with the City in advance <br />of sign installation. <br />Mr. Harris explained that the City Attorney has researced this matter <br />and it may be an infringement on the right of free speech, campaigning, <br />etc. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey <br />that case RZ-80-11 be recommended for approval. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />Noes: None <br />Resolution No. 1920 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of case RZ-80-11. <br />-5- <br />_.,_.__._...._ ~ ~ _ _ _ _ ...~.. ,..,_., ._..... _ .,. r . <br />
