Commissioner Rusteika asked what lot size the City would like to <br />see. Commissioner Doherty stated he is in favor of large lots in <br />the City. Commissioner Jamieson stated he supports five acre lot <br />sizes. <br />Bud Martin, a property owner of the area, addressed the Commission <br />stating he is located outside of the Urbanization Line and would like <br />to have the ability to divide his property into large lots at <br />a later date and asked the Commission to consider his request. <br />Commissioner Shockley asked Commissioners from Pleasanton if they <br />have planned for the future of this area. Commissioners Getty and <br />Jamieson responded that yes, they did by way of the Pleasanton General <br />Plan. <br />Commissioner Doherty and Jamieson asked what is the thinking on the <br />property south of the 90 acres shown on the map and if it came into <br />the City would it come in uniformly with the others. <br />Commissioner Wilson stated that he would like to see a meeting held <br />in Pleasanton with public input before giving the County an official <br />City position. He suggested this be considered by Pleasanton in <br />November. Mr. Fry stated that the County has put this matter off <br />as long as they felt practical especially in view of the rezoning <br />applications pending. He stated they wanted to try to meet October 20 <br />and November 13 and forward a report to the Board of Supervisors <br />as soon as possible. <br />Mr. Gale stated that his client is one of the applicants mentioned <br />and his client would not have a problem in continuing his request until <br />after the study was made and evaluated. <br />Mr. Harris stated that the Pleasanton City Council wanted to make a <br />recommendation to the County. He said the Planning Commission could <br />hear the matter in November with public input and then it could be <br />referred to City Council shortly thereafter and a City's position <br />could be sent to the County after Council review. <br />Mr. Fry stated that Pietronave's application is scheduled to be heard <br />November 19, 1980 and they might be able to continue it to December. <br />Commissioner Jamieson concurred with Commissioner Wilson's recom- <br />mendation. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:30 P.M. <br />-2- <br />
