Commissioner Jamieson said he is concerned about the resolution of the <br />problem on Amber Lane, north of Hamilton. Mr. Warnick said that dots, <br />signs, striping is about all that can be done. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Mr. Harris said that using speed bumps on Amber Lane would certainly <br />discourage a high rate of speed and that this might be a good solution <br />on the private road. Commissioner Jamieson then asked Mr. Fairfield <br />if he agreed with this and Mr. Fairfield said yes if the neighbors <br />agree, Pestana would supply the 'where with all' for the speed bumps. <br />Mr. Jackson commented this is exactly what he had in mind. <br />Mr. Jamieson <br />shall agree <br />Amber Lane, <br />road. <br />Chairperson <br />in this case <br />mendation on <br />said he would like to see a condition whereby the developer <br />to pay for the cost of speed bumps north of Hamilton on <br />subject to the approval of the people who live on that <br />Wilson stated that after deliberating the thought, he feels <br />he is going to go along with the City Engineer's recom- <br />vertical curbing. <br />A motion was then made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Chairperson <br />Wilson that Tract 4372 be approved subject to the two conditions of <br />the planning staff report and the report of the City Engineer modifying <br />Condition No. 9 as agreed to by the City Engineer and Mr. Fairfield as <br />stated earlier; that concerning No. 10, the developer be relieved <br />from putting sidewalks in on the west side of Arlington Drive and <br />Condition No. 11 that vertical curbs be shown throughout the development; <br />Condition No. 17 that the word "government" be inserted between "outside" <br />and "agencies"; No. 25...The type, number and location of the elec- <br />troliers shall be wooden poles, the type to be determined by the City <br />Engineer; Condition No. 27 that lots 12 and 13 be reserved for parks <br />and Condition No. 30 that the developer agrees to pay for speed bumps <br />for Amber Lane, north of Hamilton if he has permission from the owners <br />thereof. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson and Chairperson Wilson <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Lindsey <br />Resolution No. 1943 was then entered and adopted approving Tentative <br />Map Tract 4372. <br />Tentative Map Tract 4718, Warmington <br />Application of Warmington Homes for tentative map approval of 8.7 acres <br />of land located on the south side of Fairlands Drive opposite its <br />intersection with Brockton Drive. The property is zoned PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development-Medium Density Residential) District. <br />-5- <br /> <br />
