ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />Noes : None <br />Resolution No. 1953 was then entered and adopted approving case UP-81-1 <br />per the staff report of 2/17/81. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />GP-80-1, Housing Element Review <br />Mr. Harris explained the staff report and the reason for the Housing <br />Element once again to come before the Commission. <br />Mr. Harris stated that the changes to the Housing Element were contained <br />in the staff report of 2/17/81. <br />Discussion then ensued between Commissioner Jamieson and Mr. Harris <br />concerning whether or not the Housing Element is mandatory. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />As no one addressed the Commission, the public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner <br />Getty that the Housing Element as revised be recommended for approval. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />Resolution No. 1954 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the Housing Element as filed under case GP-80-1. <br />Initiate Prezoning of the Property Next to the Hacienda Mobile Home Park <br />Mr. Harris explained the staff report requesting the initiation of an <br />application to prezone the Hacienda Mobile Home Park. <br />Commissioner Doherty stated that at the time of the joint County and <br />City Planning Commission work session he recommended not only the <br />Hacienda Mobile Home Park be considered but also the Bates property to <br />the north and east and would like this incorporated into the application. <br />Mr. Harris said the Bates property could also be considered but that <br />this matter was brought to the attention of the Planning Commission <br />because the Hacienda Mobile Home Park is being considered for annexation. <br />Chairperson Wilson asked if this property is known as the Amaral property <br />and inquired as to the acreage involved. Mr. Harris explained it would <br />be from 20-30 acres. <br />-8- <br /> <br />
