UP-80-42, Robert Edgren Application of Robert Edgren for a conditional use permit to allow an automotive repair service in a 2700 sq. ft. space at 3688 Washington Street. The property is zoned C-S (Commercial Service) District. Mr. Harris explained the staff report and recommendation of approval. The public hearing was opened. The applicant, Robert Edgren was present and stated he simply wants to move his business from Old Santa Rita Road to Washington Street. Chairperson Wilson asked tY~e applicant if he agreed with the staff report and Mr. Edgren stated he did. The public hearing was closed. A motion was then made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Getty that case UP-80-42 be approved per the staff report of 2/17/81, and that all required findings listed thereon could be made. ROLL CALL VOTE Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and Chairperson Wilson Noes: None Resolution No. 1952 was then entered and adopted approving case UP-80-42 per the staff report of 2/17/81. UP-81-1, Valley Community Church Application of Valley Community Church for a conditional use permit which would allow a 28,550 sq. ft. church facility to be constructed in phases on an approximately 3 acre site at 4455 Del Valle Parkway. The property is zoned "P" (Public and Institutional) District. Mr. Harris explained the staff report recommending approval of this application. The public hearing was opened. Mr. Tom Nordine, 3936 West Las Positas, spoke representing the church. He inquired about condition number 7 of the staff report concerning encroachment permits. Mr. Warnick explained. The public hearing was closed. A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey that case UP-81-1 be approved per the staff report of 2/17/81 as all required findings listed thereon could be made. -7-
