RZ-80-16, Planning Commission <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone from the "A" (Agricultural) <br />District to the "P" (Public and Institutional) District an approximately <br />156 acres of the Alameda County Fairgrounds site in the vicinity of <br />Pleasanton Avenue, Rose Avenue and Bernal Avenue, or to any other zoning <br />district consistent with the General Plan. A negative declaration of <br />environmental impacts was also considered. <br />Mr. Harris explained the staff report and that the "A" District doesn't <br />allow a fairgrounds. He said he had discussed this matter with Roland <br />Mayne and Lee Hall and they have no problem with the City's request. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />No one addressed the Commission and the public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner <br />Getty that the negative declaration prepared for case RZ-80-16 be <br />recommended for approval. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson and Lindsey <br />Noes: None <br />Abstain: Chairperson Wilson <br />Resolution No. 1948 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the negative declaration prepared for case RZ-80-16. <br />A motion was then made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner <br />Getty that case RZ-80-16 be recommended for approval. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson and Lindsey <br />Noes: None <br />Abstain: Chairperson Wilson <br />Resolution No. 1949 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of case RZ-80-16 subject to the staff report of 2/17/81. <br />RZ-81-1, Jack and Jim Lavey <br />Application of Jack and Jim Lavey to rezone the approximately 10,000 sq. <br />ft. site containing an existing commercial structure and located at <br />4183 First Street from the C-S (Commercial Services) District to the <br />C-C (Central Commercial) District or to any other zoning district con- <br />sistent with the General Plan.
