OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings There were none. NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearings PUD-81-1, Michael Harris Application of Michael Harris for rezoning of the approximately 1 acre site located near the intersection of Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas Boulevard, just north of Fire Station No. 3, from the RM-25 (Multi-family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development- High Density Residential) District or to any other zoning district con- sistent with the General Plan and for development plan approval for a 16-unit townhouse residential development on the site. A negative declaration of environmental impacts was also considered.- Mr. Harris explained the staff report and the reason for this request. The public hearing was opened. The applicant, Mike Harris, 6111 Johnson Drive addressed the Commission stating he concurred with the staff report and this new application would enable FHA financing and urged approval of his application. The public hearing waS closed. A motion was made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner Getty that the negative declaration prepared for case PUD-81-1 be recommended for approval. ROLL CALL VOTE Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Chairperson Wilson Noes: None Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and Resolution No. 1946 was then entered and adopted recommending approval of the environmental assessment completed for case PUD-81-1. A motion was then made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey that case PUD-81-1 be recommended for approval subject to the conditions shown on the staff report of 2/17/81.
