Expiration of Terms for Commissioners Doherty grid Getty
Mr. Harris advised that the terms for Commissioners Doherty and
Getty will expire 5/5/81. He suggested that if they are interested
in serving again, they should write a note to the City Council
concerning this desire.
PUD-80-5, Joseph Madden (Minor Modification)
Mr. Harris stated that a letter agreement was entered into between
Mr. Madden and the City Council calling for 20~ lower income housing
for his proposed condo development on Vineyard Avenue. He also
stated that there is a letter granting an administrative minor
modification to PUD-$0-5 and that the modification is based upon
this 20~ factor. He said that the Council and Commission have
20 days to appeal the decision.
A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner
Jamieson that the minor modification to PUD-80-5 not be appealed
by the Commission and that the letter agreement be approved in
accordance with condition number 3 of the approved PUD.
ROLL CALL VOTE
Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey and Acting
Chairperson Getty
Noes: None
Absent: Chairperson Wilson
Abstain: None
Resolution No. 1975 was then entered and adopted in accordance
with the above motion concerning case PUD-80-5.
MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW
Commissioner Getty addressed the Baptist Church using the Old
Presbyterian Church. She said people are parking right on the
corner and suggested that the northwest corner of Second and Neal
be painted red.
Commissioner Getty further addressed a solar ordinance. Mr.
Harris said he has much material on the subject but hasn't had
a chance to act on it. Commissioners Jamieson and Getty said
something should be done soon. Mr. Harris said that new State law
has passed which requires subdivision design to include passive
solar if practical.
Commissioner Doherty said, the next time the Human Services Com-
mission meets, he'll be out of town and asked Commissioner Lindsey
to attend in his place.
-7-
____.__..Tr__ _ _. _ _____ .._...~. ......... __. _ _ r
