Chairperson Wilson said he would have to agree with the staff report. <br />Commissioner Lindsey suggested that if the Commission agrees, a six <br />month trial period could be allowed and that the applicant communicate <br />with staff regarding striping that has to be done, location of the booth <br />and that perhaps staff and the applicant can come to an agreement <br />knowing that the Commission is in support of their decision. <br />Chairperson Wilson had a problem with striping over potholes and stated <br />that everything should not be given away concerning this parking lot. <br />Mr. Hirst said there is no problem with paving the potholes, but the <br />applicant proposes to postpone slurry sealing. <br />Commissioner Jamieson felt that something should be done to protect <br />Birdie Bianchi's property from being damaged. <br />Commissioner Doherty was in agreement with Chairperson Wilson that Mr. Cole <br />has the right to regulate the parking on his property but would like <br />to see traffic come in from Main Street exiting on Railroad Avenue and <br />that there be enforcement. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty that the required findings <br />could be made to grant this use permit and that case UP-81-6 be approved <br />subject to the conditions outlined in the staff report; but relating to <br />the removal of curb cuts, that will be put in a suspension file for <br />six months pending the success of the proposal. <br />Bill Hirst then asked that this matter be continued to next month to <br />allow preparation of an accurate site plan depicting the proposal. <br />The motions were then rescinded and the matter continued to May 13, 1981. <br />RZ-81-2, Cit of Pleasanton <br />Application o t e Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton to <br />prezone the approximately 41 acre area located on the north side of <br />Vineyard Avenue immediately east of the Hacienda Mobile Home Park to <br />RM-4000 (Multiple Family Residential) District or any other zoning <br />district consistent with the General Plan. A mitigated negative <br />declaration of environmental impacts was also considered. <br />Mr. Harris explained the staff report. <br />Chairperson Wilson read a letter from David and Nancy Storch in oppo- <br />sition to this proposal. <br />Chairperson Wilson asked which came first the mobile home complex or the <br />houses.
