ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Wilson and <br />Chairperson Getty <br />Noes None <br />Abstain Commissioner Lindsey <br />Absent None <br />Resolution No. 2014 was then entered and adopted approving case <br />UP-81-11, the application of Amador Valley Athletic Club. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMIBBION'S REVIEW <br />Report on changes to the C-S District <br />This report was continued to 7/8/81 at the request of Interstate <br />Laundry. <br />Changes to the RM standards in the downtown area <br />Mr. Harris explained the staff report and reason for bringing this <br />back before the Planning Commission. He suggested some amendments <br />to the proposed standards as follows: <br />Private: <br />- One~edroom or less: 75 sq. ft. private open <br />space per unit with minimum dimension of 5 ft. <br />for above ground decks plus 8 feet for ground <br />level areas. <br />dimensions shall be subject to insuring adequate <br />air an light for adjacent parcels. <br />- Side: Modified to 10' total, 5 feet minimum. <br />5ub~ect to.... <br />Mr. Harris explained the reasons for these proposed amendments to the <br />original proposed standards. <br />Commissioner Jamieson asked if any restrictions have been imposed on <br />these properties being forbidden to convert to condos. Mr. Harris ex- <br />plained the condominium conversion ordinance that City Council passed <br />6/9/81. <br />Commissioner Lindsey stated he is part of an ad-hoc committee to review <br />parking in the downtown area. He stated the study is almost complete <br />and while some of the suggestions will be long range others will be <br />immediate. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey that an application for an ordinance code amendment be initiated <br />concerning RM standards in the downtown area. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes <br />Noes <br />Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson <br />and Chairperson Getty <br />None <br />-7- <br />
