A negative <br />declaration of environmental impacts was also considered. <br />Mr. Harris explained the staff report and recommendation of R-1-20,000 <br />District. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Dan Gamache, 2084 Raven Road, Pleasanton, owner of the property, stated <br />that he is in accordance with the staff recommendation and would <br />like the property to be zoned R-1-20,000 District. Judd Hull, 147 Bernal <br />Avenue, stated that in his opinion, it will be beneficial for the property <br />to come into the City for City services inasmuch as there are contaminated <br />wells in the area of the site. He said this is a start in the right <br />direction. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Doherty made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey, <br />that the negative declaration prepared for case RZ-81-9 be recommended <br />for approval because this project will not have a significant adverse <br />effect on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairperson Getty <br />Noes: None <br />Resolution No. 2040 was then entered and adopted recommending approval of <br />the negative declaration prepared for case RZ-81-9. <br />A motion was then made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey, that case RZ-81-9 be recommended for approval per the staff <br />report of 8/12/81. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairperson Getty <br />Noes: None <br />Resolution No. 2041 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of case RZ-81-9 per the staff report of 8/12/81 which recommends <br />R-1-20,000 zoning on the property. <br />RZ-81-11, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone approximately 51 acres <br />to A (Agricultural) District, or to any other zoning district consistent <br />with the General Plan, located on the west side of Foothill Road, <br />directly across from Foothill High School.
