The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey and Getty discussed the terrain and <br />density. Mr. Harris said he had concerns with density especially after <br />seeing the Morrison project on Black and Hopyard completed -- the <br />project appears too crowded. <br />Commissioner Jamieson asked about municipal bonding with regard to the <br />project. Mr. James R. Walker, City Manager, gave a brief report on this <br />matter and stated that the bond market looks bad right now. He said the <br />City is getting prepared for November hoping that the situation will <br />get better but that builders need to come up with one-half million <br />dollars for up front costs and this is a tough thing to accomplish. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner <br />Doherty that case PUD-81-20 would have no significant adverse effects <br />on the environment and that the negative declaration prepared for this <br />project be recommended for approval. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey and Chairperson Getty <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Wilson <br />Resolution No. 2068 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the negative declaration prepared for case PUD-81-20. <br />A motion was then made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Doherty, that case PUD-81-20 be recommended for approval subject to the <br />conditions shown in the staff report to the Commission dated September 16, <br />1981. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey and Chairperson Getty <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Wilson <br />Resolution No. 2069 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of case PUD-81-20 as motioned. <br />Z-81-78, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton for design review approval to <br />allow for the development of the City police facility to be located at <br />the Civic Center complex, 200 Bernal Avenue. The property is zoned <br />P (Public and Institutional) C-O (Civic Overlay) District. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Hugh Anton, 90 Mission Drive, Pleasanton (of J. Jack Bras' office), <br />stated they concur with the staff report. <br />Commissioner Jamieson asked if these plans have been reviewed with the <br />Police Department. Mr. Anton stated they have. <br />
