The public hearing was opened. <br />Robert Atkins, represented the applicant, Carnation. He stated they <br />concur with the staff report. <br />Commissioner Jamieson asked about measures proposed to be taken to <br />reduce or eliminate rodent infestation. Jerry Ruble, Manager, said <br />they trap and poison rodents and try to keep it to a minimum and <br />that this new building will be constructed in such a way as to <br />efficiently minimize this problem. <br />Vince DeAngelo, architect, spoke to the design of the building and <br />efforts put in the design for rodent control. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wilson that the negative declaration prepared for case UP-81-30 be <br />approved inasmuch as approval of the project will have no signi- <br />ficant adverse effects on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairperson Getty <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Resolution No. 2085 was then entered and adopted apppoving the <br />negative declaration prepared for case UP-81-30. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wilson, that the findings shown in the staff report are made and <br />that case UP-81-30 be approved subject to the conditions shown in the <br />staff report to the Planning Commission dated October 28, 1981. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairperson Getty <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Resolution No. 2086 was then entered and adopted approving case <br />UP-81-30 as motioned. <br />GP-81-5, R. G. Vandenberghe <br />Application of R. G. Vandenberghe for a general plan amendment to <br />change the land use designation of a 10,500 sq. ft. lot located on <br />the south side of Happy Valley Road, bounded by the Southern Pacific <br />-10- <br />Y ._._ ~.__. _ _ .. <br />
