The public hearing was opened. Robert Atkins, represented the applicant, Carnation. He stated they concur with the staff report. Commissioner Jamieson asked about measures proposed to be taken to reduce or eliminate rodent infestation. Jerry Ruble, Manager, said they trap and poison rodents and try to keep it to a minimum and that this new building will be constructed in such a way as to efficiently minimize this problem. Vince DeAngelo, architect, spoke to the design of the building and efforts put in the design for rodent control. The public hearing was opened. A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner Wilson that the negative declaration prepared for case UP-81-30 be approved inasmuch as approval of the project will have no signi- ficant adverse effects on the environment. ROLL CALL VOTE Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairperson Getty Noes: None Absent: None Abstain: None Resolution No. 2085 was then entered and adopted apppoving the negative declaration prepared for case UP-81-30. A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Wilson, that the findings shown in the staff report are made and that case UP-81-30 be approved subject to the conditions shown in the staff report to the Planning Commission dated October 28, 1981.
