Page 12
Minute s
Planning Commission
Dean Wagerman, 2333 Martin Avenue, spoke to some of the people
in the area desiring annexation and said others did not, and
indicated some did not want to be penalized because some of the residents
in the area have no desire to come into the City. Mr. Wagerman
indicated that residents in the area have indicated they wanted two
horses per lot which would require larger lots but in his opinion
it only creates 70 acres of fertilizer and flies. He indicated he
did not have a problem with staggered size lots in the area.
Karin Mohr stated that the Mayor suggested 22 acre lot sizes for
the area but gave no specific requirements.
This matter was then continued to the Planning Commission meeting
of January 27, 1982.
PUD-81-31, Stoneson Associates
Application of Stoneson Associates for Planned Unit Development-
High Density Residential zoning on a 6.6 acre site located at the
southwest corner of Stoneridge Drive and I-680. P4r. McVicar presented exhibits explaining the demographics
of the site. He said that this property already has its sewer
permits. He addressed previous concerns of the Commission's with
regard to noise attenuation. He showed a cross section showing the
distance involved in the development itself and that the distance
from the off-ramp to the first unit would be 110 feet. Mr. Jamieson
said that this is still less than 200 feet from the freeway.
The public hearing was closed.
A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner
Doherty that case PUD-81-31 be recommended for approval subject
to the conditions of the staff report to the Commission dated
December 9, 1981.
ROLL CALL VOTE
Ayes Commissioners Doherty, Wilson and
Chairperson Getty
Noes Commissioner Jamieson
Absent Commissioner Lindsey
Abstain None
Resolution No. 2105 was then entered and adopted recommending approval
of case PUD-81-31 as motioned.
