Page 11 <br />Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />Chairperson Getty requested that the staff make a map with <br />boundaries, people's names and proper identification for the <br />Commission to see. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Weimken of the area spoke stating he is not interested in <br />annexing into the City and that his main concern is to look at the <br />General Plan to make sure that the land use designation for the <br />area is maintained at larger lot levels. He commended the Planning <br />Commission for the recommendation concerning a temporary moratorium. <br />Commissioner Wilson then stated the area would be addressed at the <br />second meeting in January 1982. <br />RZ-81-22, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone a 21 acre site at <br />the northeast corner of Trenery Drive and Oakland Avenue to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) Medium Density Residential District or <br />to any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan. <br />A negative declaration of environmental impacts will also be <br />considered. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report and that this area represents <br />the location that Planning Commission desired to see have a Low <br />Density land use designation and that the staff is recommending <br />prezoning to PUD-Me dium Density in conformance with the General Plan. <br />Commissioner Jamieson asked if this area should also be included <br />in the study. Commissioner Wilson responded that it should. <br />The public hearing was opened.. <br />Martin Inderbitzen, 205 Main Street, .spoke representing <br />Mr. Molinaro, the property owner, .stating they support the staff <br />report and recommendation. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked Mr. Inderbitzen if his client would have <br />a problem in waiting until the January 27,.1982 meeting. Mr. <br />Inderbitzen indicated that his client has nothing planned right now <br />and could wait. Commissioner Wilson told Mr. Inderbitzen it would <br />be a lot better for the Planning Commission to consider the entire <br />area and study it. <br />Commissioner Doherty expressed the feeling that the Planning <br />Commission has felt that the Mohr-Mar tin area should be Low De nsity <br />Residential, but that the City Council. didn't. agree with them so <br />that when the General Plan Review Committee studied the area they <br />set this property at Medium Density. <br />Doug Helmer, 3744 Pimlico, asked if this property would be <br />designated for affordable housing. Commissioner Wilson stated no, <br />it would not. <br />
