P/C <br />Page 2 <br />2/23/83 <br />Joyce Getty - informed the Commission that the new furniture store on Main <br />Street is still flying temporary banners and their new, approved, permanent <br />signing has been installed. Mr. Harris indicated he would check on this matter. <br />Chairperson Larry Lindsey then reiterated to those persons arriving late in the <br />audience that the request for modification to Valley Business Park is being <br />continued indefinitely and that the matter will be renoticed at a later time. <br />OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />PUD-79-13 & PUD-80-1, Valle Business Associates et al <br />Application of Valley Business Associates an Sente Associates Seven for a major <br />modification to case PUD-79-13 and PUD-80-1 pertaining to hours of operation, <br />building setbacks and heights, size of trucks, amount of office building coverage <br />and other possible changes to the zoning and development plan for Valley Business <br />Park, an approximately 70 acre industrial park now under construction on the south <br />side of Valley Avenue immediately east of the residences on the east side of Kolln <br />Street. The property is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial District. <br />A Mitigated Negative Declaration of environmental impacts will also be considered. <br />This matter has been continued indefinitely at the request of the appli-cant. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearin s <br />UP-83-3, Morrison Homes <br />Application of Morrison Homes Corporation for. conditional use permit approval to <br />operate a four lot model home sales complex and a temporary sales trailer on the <br />east side of Kolln Street at its intersection with Orloff Drive (Lots 1-4 & 58, <br />Tract 4890). Zoning for the property is PUD (.Planned Unit Development)-Medium <br />Density Residential District. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report which recommended approval of case UP-83-3. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Barney Knox, Morrison Homes, was in the audience and stated he had nothing to add <br />to the comments made by Mr. Harris. <br />No one else addressed the Planning Commission on this matter and the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner Doherty that all <br />findings as shown on the staff report of 2/23/83 are made and that case UP-83-3 <br />be approved subject to the conditions shown thereon. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />Commissioners Arrigoni, <br />Chairperson Lindsey <br />None <br />Commissioner Wilson <br />Doherty, Getty, Jamieson and <br />-2- <br />
