MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, February 23, 1983 <br />7:45pm <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:45pm by Chairperson Larry Lindsey. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Al Arrigoni, Gregg Doherty, Joyce Getty, Bill <br />Jamieson and Larry Lindsey, Chairperson <br />Commissioners Absent: DeWitt Wilson (I11) <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning & <br />Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, Director <br />of Public Works and Utilities; Brian W. Swift, <br />Assistant City Attorney and Shirley McDougall, <br />Recording Secretary <br />Council Members Present: Karin Mohr <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />While it appeared on the agenda for approval, there were no Minutes submitted <br />for the 2/9/83 meeting. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM <br />WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE. AGENDA. <br />No one addressed the Planning Commission. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris indicated that the applicant has requested that Item 5a, Valley Business <br />Associates et al application for a major modification to their business park be <br />continued indefinitely; that Item 6f, PUD-83-3, Meadow Plaza Associates and <br />Item 7b, Newspaper Dispensers be continued to 3/9/83 for further staff work. <br />The Commission agreed to these requested changes. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Joyce Getty - requested that with every staff report sent to a developer that <br />Al Arrigoni's address and telephone number be included informing the. developers <br />that he is the City's new Planning Commission alternate member. Commissioner <br />Getty further announced that she would not be present at the 3/23/83 meeting. <br />William Jamieson - noted that Pleasanton Glass is still displaying flags on the <br />front of their store on First Street. He further indicated that Muirwood Estates <br />on Foothill Road was displaying a banner which evidently has been taken down but <br />that there is still a rope remaining. <br />
