PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Page 12 <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Wilson <br />and Chairperson Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2289 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the mitigated negative declaration prepared for the modification <br />to Valley Business Park, Case PUD-79-13. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Jamieson to approve the modification to case PUD-79-13 subject <br />to the conditions of the staff report changing Condition No. 8, <br />Condition No. 9 to remain as shown, Condition No. 14 to remain <br />as shown and add Conditions No. 18 and 19 as shown in the staff <br />report with Condition No. 19 to show 'fair and equitable' basis <br />as requested by the applicant. <br />Chairperson Lindsey asked if these conditions included the soundwall <br />on the property line. Mr. Harris explained that the conditions <br />call for a screening fence. <br />Commissioner Getty then reiterated her motion but included "that <br />the fencing shall be on the property lines of the Kolln Street <br />residences" and that it should consist of a solid wall, six feet <br />in height.similar to that made by Pacific Precast Corporation. <br />Commissioner Jamieson reconfirmed his second. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioner Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and Chairperson Lindsey <br />NOES: Commissioner Doherty <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN:None <br />Resolution No. 2290 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the modifications to case PUD-79-13 as motioned. <br />Santa Rita Road soundwall <br />Mr. Harris stated staff feels that the Planning Commission should <br />review the design of the wall; and the Planning Commission would <br />be interested in the location which has more or less been agreed <br />upon in Mr. Saltar's study. The wall now being proposed is a 10' <br />wall as a result of his study. He stated that this wall, in many <br />places, will be 4' from the curb on Santa Rita Road, so there will <br />be a wall which will be a minimum of 10' in height and in some <br />locations will be higher than that because the height of the wall <br />has to be at least 10' above curb level. The net result is that <br />in some places the wall will be as high as 13'. The farthest it <br />would be away from Santa Rita Road is about 14'. The existing <br />
