PLANNING CONI~^'IISSION
Page 7
5/11/83
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and
Chairman Lindsey
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
PUD-83-8, Kam Crouch, & Kral, "Mohr Park"
App ication o Kamp, Crouch, Kral and Castlewood Properties, Inc.
for PUD (Planned Unit T~evelopment) development plan approval for
a 340 unit medium density residential project on anp_roximately
60 acres located at the northeast corner of Oakland and rlohr
Avenues. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned unit Development)
Medium Density Residential District.
Mr. Harris presented the staff report and reviewed the proposed
realignment of Trenery Drive.
Commissioner~Getty asked Fire Chief Hill what the Fire Department's
views were on parking in the middle of a cul de sac. He said it
was difficult to move their apparatus, but the problem had been
solved by refacing the units towards the frontage rather than
into the cul de sac and fire hydrants had been placed at the
entrances from which hand-stretched lines could be run.
Mr. Dunkley had presented eight requested changes the afternoon
of the Commission meeting and at the meeting presented further
requested changes to the conditions. There was considerable
discussion regarding these last minute changes.
Commissioner Doherty moved that the matter be continued to
May 2S, 1...983 until the staff had had an opportunity to review
the proposed changes in conditions with the applicant. Commissioner
Jamies~li seconded the motion.
Before voting, Chairman Lindsey asked if Mr. Dunkley had anything
to say. Mr. Dunkley indicated he was trying to work with the
staff and the purpose of the changes was not to change any
conditions, but to clarify them.
Commissioner Jamieson indicated that since there were no
major changes in the conditions, he would be willing to withdraw
his second. Commissioner Doherty then withdrew his motion to
continue.
The public hearing was opened.
.... .. ~ .. ...... .......~.. ..........T... ..~.. ..
