MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />June 8, 1982 <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey and Wilson <br />NOES: Chairman Jamieson <br />ABSENT: None. <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2311 was entered and adopted recommending approval of <br />case PUD-83-9 as motioned. <br />Chairman Jamieson indicated he voted no because of the density. <br />GP-83-2, Leisure Sports, Inc./Vorelco, Inc. <br />Application of Vorelco, Inc. and Leisure Sports, Inc. to amend the general <br />plan land use designations from General and Limited Industrial to <br />Industrial/Commercial and Offices for approximately 23 acres located at <br />the southeast corner of I-580 and I-680 in the vicinity of 7090 <br />Johnson Drive. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Steve Gilmour, Leisure Sports, Inc. was present stating he has received <br />and read the staff report. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked Mr. Gilmour if he understood the conditions. <br />Mr. Gilmour responded, that he did and that they would be required to <br />participate in the North Pleasanton Assessment Districts for water and <br />utilities. <br />No one else addressed this item and the public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Wilson and Mr. Harris then discussed hotel proposals within <br />the City. h1r. Harris indicated that the change in land use designation <br />will not make much difference in the area. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey that the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for case GP-83-2 <br />be adopted inasmuch as conditions imposed upon project approval would <br />reduce any potentially significant adverse. effects to an insignificant <br />level. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2312 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for case GP-83-2 as <br />motioned. <br />-10- <br />
