PLANNING COMMISSION <br />June 22, 1983 <br />Page Seven <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Arrigoni, recommending approval of Case GP-83-3 as modified by <br />staff. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioner Arrigoni <br />NOES: Commissioner Getty <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Doherty, <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />and Acting Chairman Lindsey <br />Jamieson and Wilson <br />Resolution No. 2323 was then entered and adopted recommending <br />approval of Case GP-83-3 as motioned. <br />UP-83-15, Howard White and Valle Plaza Apartments <br />Application o Howard White an Valley Plaza Apartments for <br />approval of a conditional use permit to overate a model home <br />complex and sales office at 4372 and 4374 Valley Avenue. Zoning <br />for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Develon_ment)-High Density <br />Residential District. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval <br />of this application. The Commission had no questions of staff. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Duncan Matteson addressed the Commission on behalf of the <br />applicant. He indicated there were no problems with the report <br />except for Condition No. 5 regarding flags and banners. He <br />indicated that because of the location of the townhomes, it <br />was necessary to clearly identify the sales office to prevent <br />people from constantly going to the rental office and he presented <br />a map to the Commission illustrating this point. <br />Mr. Harris indicated that a temporary subdivision sign and <br />~''~ one on-site directional sign are allowed which would solve the <br />problem. <br />The public hearing was closed, <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Arrigoni, to approve Case UP-83-15 subject to the nine conditions <br />in the staff report and to make the required .findings for the <br />granting of a use permit. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Arrigoni, <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Doherty, <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Getty and Acting Chairman Lindsey <br />Jamieson and Wilson <br />..~.''T._... .....-.. _.. .................. <br />
