MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />July 27, 1983 <br />Page 4 <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris reported that a Stoneson townhouse homeowner has requested <br />that Item 7a, General Plan and Rezoning Study for the Regis Homes site be <br />continued to 8/24/83. This request was granted <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />There were none. <br />OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />There were none. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />Tr. 4940, Deer Oaks Land Company <br />Application of Deer Oaks Land Company to subdivide approximately twenty-six <br />acres into 19 residential lots averaging approximately 59,000 sq. ft. each <br />on the west side of Foothill Road just north of its intersection with <br />Bernal Avenue. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br />Low Density Residential/Open Space. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending .approval and stated <br />that this tract map conforms to the approved PUD for the subject site. <br />He indicated another geological report has been prepared on the site and <br />as a result, conditions have been added to accommodate the findings thereon. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked Mr. Dunkley if there had been any communications <br />between Mr. Coffman, a neighboring property owner and himself regarding <br />access to the rear of Mr. Coffman's property. Art Dunkley, Deer Oaks <br />Land Company, responded that Mr. Coffman has 40' right of way going to <br />Foothill and also parallel to his property. He said part of Mr. Coffman's <br />property is in the County and part is in the City. He said nothing has <br />been worked out with this regard between his company and Mr. Coffman. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey <br />that tentative map tract 4940, be approved subject to the conditions shown <br />in the staff report of 7/27/83. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson <br />and Jamieson. <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2336 was entered and adopted approving Tract 4940, Deer Oaks <br />Land Company as motioned. <br />-4- <br />
