Page 8 <br />Minutes <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, <br />Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2344 was entered and adopted approving case <br />UP-83-27 as motioned. <br />PUD-80-15-1D, Kinder care Learnin Centers, Inc. and Tracor/MBA <br />App ication o Kin er Care Learning Centers, Inc. an Tracor MBA <br />for PUD (Planned Unit Development) modification and development <br />plan-approval to allow for the construction ofan approximately <br />8,400 sq. ft daycare facility on approximately .8 acre site, <br />located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Brockton <br />Drive and Pimlico Drive (realigned). Zoning for the property <br />is PUD (Planned Unit Development )-Commercial District. A Mitigated <br />Negative Declaration of environmental impacts will also be <br />considered. <br />The public hearing was opened at the August 10, 1983 meeting <br />and continued opened to this date. <br />Mr. Harris presented new site plans and recommended approval <br />of the changes. He asked the Commission to make the following <br />changes to the staff conditions: <br />Condition No. 3 <br />That the uil ing shall be veneered with mini brick as shown <br />on the revised elevation except that there shall be no stucco <br />areas on the front of the building and that the cupola/bell tower <br />shall be the same color and of the same material as the rest <br />of the roof. <br />Condition No. 4 <br />That the site for the Kindercare facility shall be approximately <br />255 ft. in depth x 170 ft. in width as shown on the development <br />plan, Exhibit A, but that the final dimensions shall depend upon <br />the precise alignment of Pimlico Drive. <br />Condition No. 6 <br />This con ition be deleted. <br />Condition No. 10 <br />That samples o the roofing material, mini brick and stucco shall <br />be submitted to the Planning Division for approval prior to <br />issuance of a building permit. <br />There were no questions of the staff and the public hearing was <br />continued open. <br />Ernie Courtier,Construction Coordinator, Newport Beach, Kindercare, <br />
