MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION 10/12/83 The public hearing was opened. Jack Hovingh, 4021 Muirwood Drive stated he was opposed to the changes described in Item 6h and 6f on the Planning Commission agenda. He said an LOS E is totally unacceptable to him and the rest of the community. He didn't understand why you had to make both of these projects consistent with other PUDS when other conditions are not consistent which relate to noise, assessment districts, etc. Commissioner Getty said they were consistent. She asked how one would tell which development, i.e., Meyer, Hacienda created the LOS E. Chairman Jamieson said this is really a difficult decision to make. Mr. Harris explained LOS E as possibly being defined as allowing one to go through LOS D creating a tolerable delay, i.e, one might miss one light, not three as stated earlier by Mr. Hovingh. He stated that LOS E would be clogged. A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey that case PUD-81-22-1M be recommended for adoption. ROLL CALL VOTE AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey and Chairman Jamieson NOES: None ABSENT: Commissioner Wilson ABSTAIN: None Resolution No. 2369 was entered and adopted recommending approval of case PUD-81-22-1M as motioned. PUD 80-16-1M, City of Pleasanton Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the provisions of Ordinance No. 973 relating to traffic levels of service (LOS) and off-site traffic improvements for PUD-80-16 (Meyer Business Park). Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval. Chairman Jamieson referenced the last sentence on page 2 of the staff report. He asked when the assessment district would be formed. Mr. Harris said it is being formed now and should be formed by the mdidle of next year. The public hearing was opened. No one addressed this issue (reference Hovingh's statements PUD-81-22-1M heard earlier). The public hearing was closed. -15-
