service. He would also like to be able to be open a couple
of nights during the week. He realizes Friday and Saturday
nights are bad so he would be closed those evenings. He would
like to be able to be open Sunday through Thursday subject to
Planning Staff review. He stated that in talking to Richard
Glenn his parking requirements would only be 6+ spaces and not
11 as shown in the staff .report.
In discussing soundproofing, Mr. Harris suggested that the perimeter
walls also be soundproof as well as the partitions. Mr. Krome
stated the perimeter walls are already closed in. Mr. Krome
said it was his plan to .soundproof the back section of his suite.
He said the only animals out of that area would be the ones
in the care of their owners, doctors or technicians. Mr. Harris
stated that if the owners allow him to soundproof no more than
the back section, the City probably should not be concerned ti~ith
it. Mr. Krone said that concerning the animals at night, one
does not leave an animal in critical condition alone for the
night and his animals except for rare occasions, would be transferred
to the Dublin clinic. Chairman Jamieson expressed concern that
the animals don't stay overnight. Mr. Krone said it is his
understanding that no animals would be left overnight. Commissioner
Lindsey said it is his understanding that most animals would
be transferred to the Tri-Valley Clinic and it would be only
rare occasions with critical patients that an animal would have
to spend the night. Mr. Krone said this is the case.
The public hearing was closed.
Commissioner Getty said some flexibility should be Ieft in the
hours of operation. She said it is not always convenient that
you take an animal to the vet's office at 8:30am and pick them
up by 5:30pm. She didn't believe that noise during the day
would be a problem. She would like to see the office be able
to open at 7:30am.
Chairman Jamieson then asked Mr. Krome which hours would be
best for .his business. Mr. Krome said 8:30-5:30pm would be
- ------- ---- L..~ ~.-- ... , ..;,v;.,,, fnrranrri ro be; na ahl a to he
Chairman Jamieson asked how we ever got to LOS
Reynolds and Brown and Hacienda Business Park.
this was changed as a result of public hearing
and Brown and City Council went along with LOS
Jamieson asked when City Council initiated the
conditions.
