Ed Roquette, President, Pleasanton Meadows Homeowners Association, stated there was no map attached to his copy of the staff report and asked if he could see it. Chairman Jamieson handed him the map for his perusal. RZ-83-9, Amador Valley Investors Application of Amador Valley Investors to rezone approximately 21.7 acres located approximately 1650 feet east of the existing eastern terminus of West Las Positas Boulevard from the "A" (Agricultural) to the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District or any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan. Mr. Harris presented the staff report. The public hearing was opened. Larry Bartelson, MacKay & Somps, was present representing the applicant. Chairman Jamieson asked Mr. Bartelson about the street names. Mr. Bartelson explained they would be submitted at the tentative map stage. Ed Roquette, 3436 Windsor Court, asked what the statement "...or any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan " meant. Mr. Harris indicated the zoning districts which are in conformance. Mr. Harris stated the applicant is asking for R-1-6500 zoning. The public hearing was closed. A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Getty that case RZ-83-9 be recommended for approval as stated in the staff report.
