Minutes <br />Planning Commissior. <br />12/12/84 <br />John Caroline responded to the comments of the speakers. He <br />stated that one of the conditions recommended is that there be <br />fencing on both sides of their property. <br />Commissioner Lindsey asked if Mr. Caroline had any idea what the <br />cost of the other 11 units would be. Mr. Caroline said he did <br />not. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked why staff wants the mitigating <br />condition relating to Valley Avenue extension put on this project <br />while it hasn't been put on others. Mr. Harris explained that <br />the staff has recommended this condition for every project. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Wilson that a negative declaration for case PUD-84-7 <br />be recommended for adoption inasmuch as project approval would <br />have an insignificant effect on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: Commissioner Innes <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN:None <br />Resolution No. 2583 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of a negative declaration for case PUD-84-7. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by <br />Commissioner Lindsey that case PUD-84-7 be recommended for <br />adoption subject to the conditions of the staff report with the <br />following changes: <br />2. This condition was eliminated. <br />4. That 8 ft. wide parallel curbside parking spaces be <br />installed along the west side of the private street. <br />5. That the entire length of the curb on the east side of <br />the private street be painted red and "No Parking" signs <br />posted. <br />11. That the developer will provide a four ft. wide sidewalk <br />along the east side of the private street. This sidewalk <br />will be constructed concurrently with the development. <br />14. The project cannot commence until 1986. <br />15. That the applicant work with the staff regarding the <br />design and height of courtyard fences adjacent to units <br />2, 8, 10 and 16. <br />- 18 - <br /> <br />
