Mr. Warnick indicated the condition refers
to internal streets.
The public hearing was closed.
Commissioner Lindsey felt the property owners of Stanley
Boulevard had a right to know when Del Valle Parkway is going to
happen. Chairman Doherty indicated he would prefer the general
plan be considered only for 4005 Stanley Boulevard until the City
decides on the Del Valle Parkway extension.
Chairman Doherty, Commissioners Innes and Lindsey desired to have
their concerns regarding the Del Valle Parkway expressed to the
City Council. He felt the people have a right to
know precisely how they stand.
Commissioner Lindsey asked that if someone came into the office
they could be shown where the alignment would be. Mr. Warnick
indicated staff could show where it would be.
Commissioner Lindsey supported Commissioner Innes' comments.
Commissioner Getty felt it was ridiculous for people to be unable
to do anything with their properties.
Commissioner Inner still felt he would like the issue carried as
far as it can possibly go. Mr. Warnick indicated that if the
City had the money they would construct it as soon as possible.
Chairman Doherty suggested the Commission act on both of the
projects and then give staff some direction.
A motion was made by Commissioner Wi
Commissioner Getty that the negative
case GP-84-14 be adopted inasmuch as
proposed would have an insignificant
and that the negative declaration of
recommended for approval.
lson, seconded by
declaration prepared for
the general plan change
effect on the environment
environmental impacts be
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman
Doherty
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN:None
- 11 -
_~. .._ _.
_ __....._~ ...1.._,___
