Steve Fee, reviewed the four types of glass in the building. He
explained the yellow archway between the structures.
commissioner Wellman asked for a review of the canopy. Mr. Fee
complied.
Mr. Peder Jacobson, 6122 Allbrook Circle, spoke against this
proposal because of noise and pollution.
Pat O'Brian, 27 Castledown, indicated he had talked to Jim Self
who said he has been talking to Mr. Jacobson and they have
clarified this issue. They have had two or three meetings. Mr.
Jacobson indicated that he talked to Mary McLaughlin about this
issue two years ago and the only thing Mr. Self does is to review
those same plans. These plans have not taken care of the noise
or pollution problems.
Chairman Doherty asked Mr. Jacobson to check with staff
concerning his concerns.
The public hearing was closed.
Commissioner Innes said he would vote in favor of this project if
further submittals were put off until the traffic standards have
been received and analyzed. Commissioner Lindsey then clarified
his previous statements concerning this. He can support this
project but just feels that the traffic standards should be
provided very soon. Commissioner Innes said he would like a
chance to vote in favor of these projects.
A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by
Commissioner Wellman that PUD-81-30-22D be recommended for
approval subject to the conditions of the staff report.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Lindsey, Wellman and Chairman Doherty
NOES: Commissioner Innes
ABSENT: Commissioners Getty and Wilson
ABSTAIN: None
Resolution NO. 2531 was entered and adopted recommending approval
of case PUD-81-30-22D as motioned.
GP-84-12, Prudential Insurance Com an
Application of the Prudential Insurance Company to amend the
General Plan Land Use Element designation of the 0.647 acre site
from General and Limited Industrial to Commercial and Offices
located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Owens
Court and Owens Drive.
