Commissioner Innes told Mr. Jacobson that there is an <br />environmental monitoring committee and su <br />Jacobson contact this committee through theePleasantonMPanning <br />Department. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindse <br />Commissioner Wellman that case PUD-81-30y21Debenrdecdommended for <br />approval subject to the conditions shown in the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Lindse <br />NOES: Commissioner Innes y' Wellman and Chairman Doherty <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Getty and Wilson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2531 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of case PUD-81-30-21D as motioned. <br />PUD-81-30-22D, Callahan-Pentz Pro erties <br />Application for design review approval for a two-building office <br />complex of approximately 92,600 sq, ft. on an a <br />acre site located at the southeast corner of thepintersection•of <br />Chabot and Gibraltar Drives. Zoning for the <br />(Planned Unit Development)-Industrial, Commerpialeand Offices <br />District. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval. <br />Commissioner Innes inquired about office parking requirements. <br />Mr. Harris indicated that general offices require one space for <br />each 300 sq. ft, and medical offices require one parking space <br />for each 150 sq. ft. Commissioner Innes then asked about the <br />egress to the site. Mr. Harris stated that condition number six <br />requires that the developer have a traffic engineer study the <br />matter. The City wants to make sure there is sufficient stacking <br />capabilities. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Howard Sword, 2171 Goldcrest Cr. stated that they have asked TJKM <br />to speak study this matter. <br />Chris Kinzel, TJKM, 4637 Chabot Drive, stated he had just seen <br />condition No. 6 this evening. The median on Chabot Drive comes <br />fairly close to the drive way and feels this is a valid concern <br />which needs to be addressed. They will look at it in detail. <br />Commissioner Innes asked about traffic and Mr. Kinzel explained <br />that offices usually have staggered arrivals and departures and <br />that traffic will not be a problem. <br />Mr. Sword invited the Commission to look at the model presented <br />more closely so that they could more readily see the variations <br />in the proposed glass materials. He stated Steve Fee, Fee and <br />Munson would talk about the glazing materials. <br />- 8 - <br />.. . <br />r_. <br />
