Planning Commission 8/8/84 RZ-84-13, City of Pleasanton Application of the City of Pleasanton for prezoning of an approximately 59 acre site to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Open Space District or to any other district consistent with the General Plan. The property is located approximately 1,800 ft. west of the intersection of Highland Oaks Drive and Foothill Road. A negative declaration of environmental impacts will also be considered. Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending the subject property be prezoned to the PUD-Open Space District. Commissioner Wilson asked what the zoning is on the Garmes property which has been the recent subject of prezoning. Mr. Harris stated that it is approximately one-half Low Density Residential and one-half Open Space. The Chairman declared the public hearing open. No one addressed this item and the public hearing was declared closed. A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey that the negative declaration for case RZ-84-13 be recommended for approval inasmuch as prezoning of this property would have no significant adverse effect on the environment. ROLL CALL VOTE AYES: Commissioners Innes, Lindsey, Wellman, Wilson and Chairman Doherty NOES: None ABSENT: Commissioner Getty ABSTAIN: None Resolution No. 2515 was entered and adopted recommending approval of the negative declaration prepared for case RZ-84-13. A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Innes that the 59 acre site described herein be prezoned to PUD-Open Space District as recommended by the staff.
