8/8/84 <br />Planning Commission <br />Page 22 <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />Recreational Vehicle Storage in the Agricultural District <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report and request of Mr. Newnam. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked the location of Mr. Newnam's property. Mr. Newnam <br />explained he is just north of Garmes. Commissioner Innes asked the location <br />with regard to Williams and the Hempy property. Mr. Newnam explained. <br />Bill Newnam, 5130 Foothill Road, urged that the ordinance code to amended <br />as stated in the staff report. <br />Commissioner Wilson couldn't imagine having such a use in Mr. Newnam's area. <br />Mr. Harris explained that this ordinance code change would not be for Newnam <br />but would allow he and others who are in the Agricultural District to apply <br />for a conditional use permit for a RV storage area. It might be appropriate <br />in other Agricultural areas. <br />Commissioner Lindsey believed taht the use would be appropriate in the Agricultural <br />district and made a motion to initiate an application to the Zoning Ordinance <br />to allow Vehicle Storage in Agricultural Districts with a conditional use <br />permit. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes, Lindsey, Wellman and Chairman <br />Doherty <br />NOES: Commissioner Wilson <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Getty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />TENTATIVE TRACT MAPS <br />Tract 5352, Northwood Homes <br />Applicaiton of Northwood. Homes to subdivide an approximately two acre site <br />into 34 condominium commercial units located at 39 California Avenue. Zoning <br />for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Commercial District. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of the Tract. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked about density of the development. Mr. Harris reviewed <br />it and stated that this tract is in conformance with the aproved development <br />plan and zoning for the subject property. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />No one addressed this matter. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />-22- <br />
