8/8/84 <br />Planning Commission <br />Page 13 <br />Commissioner Wilson then discussed with Mr. Fairfield the green area and <br />the possibility of getting back the eight lots which the City Staff is recommending <br />be removed from the development. In discussing drainage, Mr. Fairfield indicated <br />that the drainage flow down to Kottinger will be cut approximately in half. <br />Mr. Fairfield acknowledged Mr. Chew's comments relating to lack of notification <br />Chairman Doherty pointed out that the officers of the homeowners assocations <br />were contacted. Mr. Chew felt the traffic issues were not adequately addressed <br />with regard to Concord Street. He again requested an EIR be done for this <br />large project. <br />Mr. Bursan of Concord Street asked that a green belt be allowed between the <br />existing development and the one proposed. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Innes referrred to the mitigated negative declaration for the <br />project and the concerns expressed by the speakers.
