8/8/84 <br />Planning Commission <br />Page 13 <br />Commissioner Wilson then discussed with Mr. Fairfield the green area and <br />the possibility of getting back the eight lots which the City Staff is recommending <br />be removed from the development. In discussing drainage, Mr. Fairfield indicated <br />that the drainage flow down to Kottinger will be cut approximately in half. <br />Mr. Fairfield acknowledged Mr. Chew's comments relating to lack of notification <br />Chairman Doherty pointed out that the officers of the homeowners assocations <br />were contacted. Mr. Chew felt the traffic issues were not adequately addressed <br />with regard to Concord Street. He again requested an EIR be done for this <br />large project. <br />Mr. Bursan of Concord Street asked that a green belt be allowed between the <br />existing development and the one proposed. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Innes referrred to the mitigated negative declaration for the <br />project and the concerns expressed by the speakers. He explained that the <br />general plan review committee is going to be doing a complete circulation <br />study and therefore any concerns will be mitigated one way or the other. <br />Mr. Harris indicated that the City has done a circulation study on the southeastern <br />portion of Pleasanton. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Wellman <br />that the negative declaration prepared for case GP-84-7 be recommended for <br />adoption inasmuch as approval of the subject general plan amendment will <br />have no significant adverse effect on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes, Lindsey, Wellman, Wilson <br />and Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Getty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2507 was entered and adopted recommending approval of the <br />negative declaration prepared for case GP-84-7, Chang Su-0 Lin. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Innes that <br />case GP-84-7 be recommended for approval as recommended in the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes, Lindsey, Wellman, Wilson <br />and Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Getty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2508 was entered and adopted recommending approval of case <br />GP-84-7 as motioned. <br />-13- <br />__....__ .. __. .. . _ ... ....... __ ..... _r._- _ _, _ _____ _ , _ _ _. __ __ .,~. _ . <br />
