MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />7/11/84 <br />Page 6 <br />Commissioner Innes urged staff to view a modular unit very carefully. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner Wilson that <br />the negative declaration prepared for case UP-84-24 be approved inasmuch as <br />project approval would have an insignificant effect on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Wellman, and Vice Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Lindsey and Chairman Doherty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2493 was entered and adopted approving the negative declaration <br />prepared for case UP-84-24 as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner Getty tha <br />findings as shown in the staff report to the Planning Commission are made and <br />that case UP-84-24 be approved subject to the conditions shown in the staff <br />report eliminating Condition No. 1 and amending Condition No. 4 to eliminate <br />the wording 'installing the modular unit on the subject property' in line one. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Wellman and Vice Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Lindsey and Chairman Doherty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2494 was entered and adopted approving case UP-84-24 as motioned. <br />Commissioner Innes indicated he assumed that with approval of UP-84-24 it is <br />his understanding that the 40' setback is no longer required and everyone agrees <br />to the 10' setback. <br />The application for design review approval for this project was continued to <br />August 8, 1984 by unanimous vote. <br />PUD-81-30-14D, Hacienda Business Park <br />Application of Prudential Insurance Company for design review of a 65,000 sq. <br />ft. office/industrial building proposed to be constructed on the approximately <br />4.75 acre parcel located on the west side of Willow Road opposite Gibraltar <br />Drive. The property is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial/Commercial <br />and Offices District. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of the project. <br />He indicated that Chris Kinzel was present from TJKM to address traffic issues. <br />He stated he would present the traffic issue and then review the proposed design. <br />Commissioner Innes asked the applicant to reverse the order of events so that <br />the design would be reviewed first. Mr. Battler then made his presentation <br />stating the building would be a tilt-up concrete structure. The windows will <br />be wrapping all of the way around the building. They are concerned with the <br />appearance because it is so visible from Hopyard Road. He then introduced <br />Chris Kinzel. <br />-6- <br />__ _ r <br />
