The property is zoned PUD (Planned Unit
Development)-Industrial, Commercial and Offices District.
Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of case UP-84-30.
Commissioner Innes asked whether or not there would be other convenience banking
centers in North Pleasanton. Mr. Harris stated that this is the only one, at this
time, of which he is aware. Commissioner Innes asked staff if they felt four stalls
for parking for this use would be sufficient. Staff responded that four stalls
should be sufficient.
The public hearing was opened.
Don Rhudy, Callahan-Pentz Properties, project manager for this proposal, 900 Bush
St., San Francisco, indicated he agrees with the staff report and the proposed
conditions of approval. They will have other banking facilities which will draw
outside people to the park. This particular one, however, they don't feel will
draw traffic because of its limited services.
No one else addressed this matter, and the public hearing was closed.
A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner Wellman that
case UP-84-30 be approved inasmuch as the three required findings as shown in the
staff report are made.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Wellman and Vice Chairman Wilson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioner Lindsey and Chairman Doherty
ABSTAIN: None
Resolution No. 2498 was entered and adopted approving case UP-84-30 as motioned
subject to the conditions shown in the staff report.
RZ-84-8, City of Pleasanton
Application of the City of Pleasnton to prezone the approximately 8 acre site on
the north side of Vineyard Avenue opposite Mavis Drive to the PUD (Planned Unit
Development)-Medium Density Residential District or to any other zoning district
consistent with the General Plan.
