MINUTES <br />PLAr:NING COMMISf~ION <br />7/11/84 <br />Page 11 <br />After discussion of the Commission, Vice Chairman Wilson announced that Cases <br />PUD-81-30-16D and 4M would be considered simultaneously. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Joe Callahan, Callahan-Pentz Properties, indicated that they agree with the staff <br />report.. The design Guidelines and CC&Rs are in conflict and the modification <br />needs to be done to remedy the situation. It was always their intention to allow <br />flexibility in fronts of buildings. <br />Howard Sword, 2171 Goldcrest, the construction manager for this project, indicated <br />that a multi-user makes sense on this property. They intend to mix retail, commercial <br />with office. Regarding the staff report, he believed there is a discrepancy <br />in that the office building will have smoke solar gray glas~,the retail portion <br />will have clear glass. <br />Mark Sweeney, Sales Manager, 4858 Cobbler Court, stated they have found a business <br />park of this size must have the types of services proposed for this building. <br />Vice Chairman Wilson asked if Mr. Sweeney had any tenants lined up for the building. <br />Mr. Sweeney indicated that there has been a considerable amount of tenant interest. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner Getty that <br />case PUD-81-30-4M and 16D be recommended for approval subject to the conditions <br />shown in the staff report as both projects conform to the gernal plan land use <br />designation for the site. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Wellman and Vice Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Lindsey and Chairman Doherty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2497 was entered and adopted recommending approval of case PUD-81-30-4M <br />and PUD-81-30-16D as motioned. <br />-11- <br /> <br />
