MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />7/11/84 <br />Page 10 <br />PUD-81-30-15D, PIC <br />Application for design review of two office buidings totalling approximately <br />217,000 sq. ft. proposed to be constructed on the 14.16 acre site located at <br />the northeast corner of Hopyard Road and West Las Positas Boulevard. The property <br />is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial Commercial and Offices District. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of the project. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Warren Sattler, Prudential, urged approval of the project noting that they have <br />not yet complied with Condition No. 2 shown on the staff report relating to exterior <br />building materials. The architect is present to discuss this matter. <br />Vince Wong, the architect stated that the materials would be brick veneering <br />but that the combination of and grout and brick has not yet been chosen. They <br />would like to mock up a sample of the grout, glazing and plaster. <br />Commissioner Innes asked if the windows would be reflective. Mr. Wong said they <br />would be but not on the outside. The reflection would provide a light interior <br />with no real mirror effect. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner Innes that <br />case PUD-81-30-15D, be recommended for approval subject to the conditions shown <br />in the staff report with the understanding that the colors and materials will <br />be submitted to the staff at a later time. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty Innes, Wellman, and Vice Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Lindsey .and Chairman Doherty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2496 was entered and adopted recommending approval of case PUD-81-30-15D <br />as motioned. <br />PUD-81-30-16D, Callahan Pentz Properties <br />Application of Callahan-Pentz Properties for design review of a four building <br />commercial/office complex totalling approximately 81,000 sq. ft. proposed for <br />the 6.328 acre site located immediately south of the intersection of Stoneridge <br />Drive and Gibraltar Drive (on the east side of Gibraltar Drive). The property <br />is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial., Commercial and Offices District. <br />PUD-81-30-4M, Callahan Pentz Properties <br />Application for a minor modification to the building setback and landscaping requirements <br />of the Hacienda B usiness Park as it pertains to the four building commercial/office <br />complex proposed for the 8 acre site located south of the intersection of Gibraltar <br />Drive and Stoneridge Drive on the east side of Gibraltar Drive. Zoning for the <br />property is PUD (Planned Unit Dev elopment)-Industrial, Commercial and Offices <br />District. <br />-10- <br />_r _ <br />
