MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />4/25/84 <br />Commissioner Doherty has noticed PGE and/or Pacific .Bell vaults being <br />installed on Hansen Drive. He has received some complaints on the conditions <br />of the roads after such installations. <br />Commissioner Lindsey discussed the previous application of Ponderosa Homes <br />for the models. Mr. Curtis indicated that the objection that time had <br />to do with large and small homes and lots being put next to each other. <br />He has no particular problem with a model home sales office in the area. <br />Mr. Pinkerton felt that Mr. Curtis would know better than anyone else <br />since he lives on the street the things which go on in the area. He gave <br />Mr. Curtis his business card and asked him to consult directly with him <br />on any items of concern. <br />The public hearing was closed <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner Wilson <br />that all findings as stated in the staff report are made and that case <br />UP-84-5 be approved subject to the conditions shown in the staff report <br />amending condition no. 2 as discussed. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioner Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson <br />and Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2458 was entered and adopted approving case UP-84-5 as <br />smotioned. <br />PUD-84-2, Howell Apartments <br />Application of EVH Partnership and the Roman Catholic Bishop of Oakland <br />for PUD zoning and development plan approval of a 296 unit multi-family <br />residential development project and related facilities on an approximately <br />12 acre site at the southwest corner of Bernal Avenue (extension) and <br />Sunol Boulevard. The property consists of approximately 7 acres currently <br />within the City and approximately 5 acres currently outside of the City <br />for which this action shall constitute a prezoning. The Planning Commission <br />may recommend any action on this matter consistent with the General Plan. <br />A negative declaration of environmental impacts will also be considered. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked if EVH builds a one-half street, how many units <br />they would be allowed to complete. Mr. Harris indicated they could complete <br />all of their units. <br />-7- <br />_ T <br />
